Daan Utsav, also known as the Joy of Giving Week, is celebrated across India as a festival of philanthropy. This year, as we come together for Daan Utsav 2024, we invite you to make a meaningful impact by supporting Doon Animal Welfare mission to save the abandoned and helpless cows from starvation and suffering.


nThe voiceless cows we care for have gone through unimaginable hardship and trauma, often left to fend for themselves in the harshest of conditions. Many of these gentle beings are injured, old, or abandoned, and they depend on us to provide them with food, shelter, and the love they deserve. Doon Animal Welfare is fully dedicated to the care and protection of cows, which have always held a special place in our culture and tradition. Located in the tranquil environment of Uttarakhand, our gaushala is a safe haven for over 1500+ cows, including those that are injured, sick, or have been saved from butchers. We provide them with healthy food, medical care, and a place to live peacefully and with respect.
