About the Campaign

Doon Animal Welfare in Dehradun is a beacon of compassion and care for Dogs in need. These Dogs And Cat, often injured, accidental, or paralyzed, find solace and healing under the shelter’s roof. With over 50 Dogs in their care, Doon Animal Welfare faces the challenge of providing a safe and suitable environment for these animals. At Doon Animal Welfare, we are driven by a singular mission: to create a world where every animal is cherished, respected, and protected. Founded with a deep-rooted commitment to animal welfare, our organization strives to make a tangible difference in the lives of animals and the communities we serve. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful belief: that every living being, regardless of species, deserves compassion, care, and dignity. With this guiding principle at our core, we have embarked on a relentless quest to safeguard and improve the lives of animals in need.

Our Work :

  • Rescue and Rehabilitation: We actively rescue injured and abandoned animals, providing them with essential medical care and a safe haven for recovery.
  • 24/7 Medical Care: Our facility offers round-the-clock veterinary services, ensuring every animal receives the best possible treatment in our shelter.
  • Community Education: We are dedicated to educating the public about animal welfare, promoting responsible pet ownership and compassion for all creatures.
  • On-Site Treatment for Street Animals: We provide immediate medical attention and care for street animals directly in their environments.
  • Adoption Program: Over the past five years, we have successfully found loving homes for more than 1,000 animals.
  • Street Animal Feeding Program: We ensure that stray animals receive regular, nutritious meals.
  • Water Bowl Project: In the last two years, we have installed over 1,200 water bowls to provide essential hydration to street animals.
  • Sheltered 2000+ Cows: Our shelter provides a safe home for over 2,000 cows, ensuring their well-being and protection.
  • Awareness Programs in Malls and Societies: We conduct outreach programs to raise awareness about animal welfare in public spaces and communities.
