At Doon Animal Welfare, our vision is rooted in spreading love, care, and protection for cows, cattle, saints, and all Gauwansh. In Hinduism, the cow holds a revered position as the dwelling place of all gods and is considered the most sacred animal.
Donating cows is not merely a ritual but a virtuous practice upheld by Hindus, symbolizing compassion and benevolence. It is believed that cow donation purifies individuals and leads to everlasting happiness. We are dedicated to promoting the welfare and reverence of cows, contributing to a more compassionate and harmonious society.
Our work revolves around saving and providing shelter to stray cows in distress, offering them a safe refuge to recuperate and regain strength. Our compassionate team ensures that each animal receives the love and assistance it needs to heal and thrive once again. Currently, Doon Animal Welfare is aiding over 2000 Stray Cows through various means, including funding, improved shelter, medical care, and more.
As part of our vision, we prioritize the well-being of mother cows and their calves by providing whole milk exclusively produced for their nourishment and health. Additionally, we organize events and educational classes to raise awareness about responsible animal care, advocating for treating animals with kindness, respect, and empathy. Through these efforts, we aim to instill a culture of compassion and understanding towards all living beings, fostering a society where animals are cherished and protected.
