Donation for X-Ray Machine: Help To Save Injured Cows
At Doon Animal Welfare Trust, we have always worked tirelessly to rescue and treat injured animals in Dehradun. Under the kind leadership of Milli Kaur, our organization cares for over 2000 animals, including many cows, dogs, and other voiceless beings who rely on us for survival. Every day, we receive calls about animals in distress—those hit by vehicles, abandoned due to illness, or suffering from life-threatening injuries.
However, despite our best efforts, we face a significant challenge: we do not have an on-site X-Ray machine. This limits our ability to diagnose internal injuries and provide the urgent care these animals need. Today, we ask for your support to change this.
1. Why an X-Ray Machine is Crucial
Most of the animals we rescue suffer from severe injuries or trauma, such as broken bones or internal bleeding. These conditions require immediate diagnosis through X-rays. Unfortunately, without an X-Ray machine at our center, we must travel over an hour to the nearest facility.
The journey is not only stressful for the injured animals but also delays their treatment. Many animals experience prolonged pain or even lose their lives because of these delays. An on-site X-Ray machine would allow us to diagnose and treat injuries immediately, saving countless lives and ensuring better recovery outcomes.
2. How Your Donation for X-Ray Machine Will Make a Difference
Your donation can directly help us purchase a Digital X-Ray Machine for our rescue center. This equipment will be a game-changer, allowing us to:
1. Provide Immediate Care: Animals in critical condition can receive timely diagnosis and treatment without the stress of travel.
2. Save More Lives: With quicker diagnoses, we can prevent complications and ensure better recovery rates.
3. Improve Efficiency: Our rescue team can focus more on saving animals rather than arranging for transportation and waiting for external diagnostic results.
Every contribution, big or small, will bring us closer to this goal. Together, we can ensure that no injured animal suffers due to a lack of resources.
3. Real-Life Stories: Why We Need Your Help
Recently, we rescued a cow who had been hit by a speeding vehicle. She was in immense pain and couldn’t stand. Suspecting a fractured leg, we had to transport her to a facility 60 kilometers away for an X-ray. The journey was long and exhausting, and by the time she returned, her condition had worsened due to the stress. With an on-site X-Ray machine, we could have diagnosed her injury on time and started her treatment immediately.
This is just one of many stories. Every day, animals like her need urgent care. Your support can change their fate.
4. How You Can Help
By contributing to this cause, you are not just donating money—you are giving injured animals a second chance at life. Here’s how your donation will be used:
1.Purchase of the X-Ray Machine: The primary goal is to acquire a Digital X-Ray Machine for our center.
2. Setup and Maintenance: Ensuring the equipment functions smoothly to serve as many animals as possible.
3. Training for Staff: Equipping our team to use the machine effectively for quick and accurate diagnoses.

6. Together, We Can Make a Difference
Animals cannot express their pain, but they rely on us to understand their suffering and take action. Your donation can bring hope to countless animals in need. Let’s join hands and ensure that every injured animal has a fighting chance at recovery.
Every rupee counts. Together, we can turn our rescue center into a place of healing and hope for all animals in need.
