Ekadashi Gau Seva – Feed & Heal Cows

Ekadashi – Special Cow Seva Donation Campaign by Doon Animal Welfare

In the shelter of Doon Animal Welfare, many injured, sick and abandoned cows are waiting every day for treatment, food and loving care. On the auspicious day of Ekadashi, scriptures mention that sincere gau seva (service to cows) brings peace, purity and blessings. Every act of kindness offered to cows on Ekadashi is considered deeply meaningful for families and brings positive spiritual upliftment.

Ekadashi teaches us to choose compassion over comfort and service over selfishness. Serving injured and voiceless cows is a living expression of devotion—turning our faith into real action. Your donation helps provide timely medical care and daily nourishment to cows who cannot survive without support.

It is believed that gau daan and gau seva on Ekadashi help in reducing negative karmic burdens and bringing harmony, protection and blessings to the family. Supporting cow care on Ekadashi is a simple yet powerful way to practice dharma through compassion and selfless service.

This Ekadashi, join hands with Doon Animal Welfare to support injured cows in our shelter. Your contribution – small or big – can ease the pain of a suffering cow, save a life and become a source of blessings for you and your loved ones.
