Feed Thousands of Sadhus & Yatris Healthy Meals During Char Dham Yatra

Char Dham Yatra is one of the holiest pilgrimages in India, taking devotees to four sacred shrines nestled in the Himalayas—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. It is believed that this spiritual journey cleanses the soul and brings one closer to moksha (liberation).

Every year, thousands of sadhus and devotees undertake the Char Dham Yatra—a spiritual journey to the four holy shrines of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Walking through harsh terrains and unpredictable weather, many of these saints and pilgrims travel with unwavering faith but very limited means.

At Doon Animal Welfare Trust (DAW), we believe “Annadaan is Mahadaan”—feeding the hungry is the highest form of charity. Inspired by this timeless principle, we have launched the Char Dham Yatra Seva Project—a mission to provide healthy, sattvic meals and drinking water to thousands of sadhus and yatris along the route.

Char Dham Yatra 2024, a sacred pilgrimage through the holy shrines of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, holds immense spiritual significance for devotees across India. As thousands of sadhus and pilgrims embark on this divine journey through the Himalayas, Doon Animal Welfare Trust (DAW) has undertaken a noble mission — to ensure that no sadhu walking the path of faith sleeps in hunger.

Your support is instrumental in realizing the goal of ensuring that every sadhu undertaking the sacred Char Dham Yatra is provided with nourishment and care. Through your contributions, Doon Animal Welfare Trust (DAW) aims to serve those walking the divine path, enabling them to continue their journey with a contented heart and a fulfilled spirit. Every donation—big or small—makes a tangible difference in alleviating hunger and spreading love, compassion, and devotion during this auspicious pilgrimage.

“This is not just a donation—it’s an offering of love, a step toward dharma, and a path to eternal blessings. Serve the saints. Serve the divine.”

Together, let us embrace the spirit of the Char Dham Yatra by extending a helping hand to those in need—fostering a community of compassion and service that echoes the sacred values of devotion, humility, and dharma.
