Stand with Himachal: Urgent Flood Relief Appeal by Doon Welfare Org.

Late on July 29, 2025, torrential rains triggered flash floods and landslides across Mandi district. In the blink of an eye, homes were swept away, roads vanished, and entire families found themselves stranded on waterlogged rooftops.

A Crisis Unfolding Before Our Eyes

“I held my daughter close as the water rose past our waist,” recalls Meena Devi, her eyes hollow with worry. Across Sundernagar and Sarkaghat, mothers cradle frightened toddlers, elders sift through soggy debris for anything salvageable, and children stare at empty doorsteps where their lives once stood.
