Mahashivratri Nandi Seva Mahadaan

Mahashivratri Nandi Seva Campaign — Fodder & Treatment for Nandi Campaign by Doon Animal Welfare Foundation • Compassion in Action • Mahashivratri

The Need: Why Rescued Bulls Require Immediate Support

Across our streets and rural edges, many bulls face hunger, injury, and neglect. Some are abandoned after becoming weak or ill. Some suffer from accidents, infections, dehydration, and untreated wounds. During seasonal changes and harsh nights, their condition worsens quickly without proper nutrition and medical attention. At Doon Animal Welfare Foundation, we rescue, shelter, and treat these animals, but their care requires consistent resources. Mahashivratri gives us a meaningful moment to turn devotion into compassion—so that no Nandi is left behind.

What We Are Doing in This Mahashivratri Nandi Seva

This campaign focuses on two essential pillars of welfare: fodder support and treatment support. With your help, we can strengthen daily feeding, provide emergency care when needed, and ensure that rescued bulls live with comfort and dignity.

How Your Donation Creates Real Impact

When you donate to this campaign, you are directly helping an animal who cannot speak but still feels pain, hunger, and fear. Your support helps us feed rescued bulls with dignity, respond to medical emergencies faster, and continue treatment until recovery is complete. It also helps us keep our rescue work sustainable, so that every time a Nandi is found suffering, we can act without delay. Even a small contribution becomes powerful when combined with community support.
