Mahashivratri Vanar Seva & Treatment

Mahashivratri Vanar Seva & Treatment Drive Campaign by Doon Animal Welfare Foundation • Monkey Feeding • Rescue • Medical Care

Why Mahashivratri Is a Powerful Time for Vanar Seva

Mahashivratri is a night of faith, discipline, and devotion—when countless people visit temples and spiritual places. During such days, monkeys gather near crowded areas in search of food, but what they often find is too little, too late. Many are forced to fight for scraps, risk road accidents, or consume unsafe waste. This campaign transforms devotion into action by supporting planned, hygienic feeding and urgent treatment for sick and injured monkeys.

Our goal is simple: no hungry monkey should be ignored, and no injury should go untreated just because help didn’t arrive in time. Every contribution becomes direct care on the ground—delivered by a team that understands animal welfare and responds with compassion.

What Your Support Makes Possible

The Reality on the Ground

Many monkeys suffer silently. Some have deep cuts from wire, glass, or sharp debris. Others show signs of infection, swelling, or fractures after falls and accidents. In harsh weather and crowded areas, even a small untreated wound can become life-threatening. Timely intervention is critical—because for animals, delays can mean permanent disability or loss of life.

With your help, our team can respond faster, provide better care, and support recovery with compassion. This is not just charity—it is responsibility. On Mahashivratri, when we seek blessings, we also have the chance to become a blessing for a life that cannot ask for help.

How You Can Participate

You can support this Mahashivratri Vanar Seva & Treatment Drive through a donation of any amount. Whether small or large, your contribution directly supports rescue, treatment, and feeding efforts.
