Sankat Chaturthi Seva: Protect Old & Injured Cows

Sankat Chaturthi Seva: Protect Old & Injured Cows by Doon Animal Welfare

The New Year is a time for fresh beginnings, positive intentions, and meaningful actions. This year, begin with compassion by supporting Gau Seva—a heartfelt effort to protect and care for cows who suffer due to hunger, injury, abandonment, and harsh weather. Your contribution becomes a real step toward kindness, safety, and dignity for Gau Mata.

Across cities and towns, countless cows roam streets, highways, and marketplaces in search of food and water. Many survive on unsafe waste, which leads to serious illness. Injuries from traffic accidents, sharp objects, and cruelty are sadly common. Some cows are old and weak, unable to compete for food, while others are nursing mothers struggling to survive. When such cows are rescued, their recovery depends on consistent care—first-aid, medicines, wound treatment, clean water, nutritious fodder, and a calm shelter where they can rest without fear.

At Doon Animal Welfare, Gau Seva is not a one-day effort—it is a daily responsibility. Our team responds to rescue calls, assesses injuries, and ensures proper treatment and follow-up care. Healing takes time—wounds need regular dressing, weak cows require nutritional support, and clean shelters reduce stress and speed recovery. This New Year campaign helps make that steady, humane care possible for cows who have nowhere else to go.

Let your first act of the year be a blessing for voiceless lives. When you support Gau Mata, you support compassion, dharma, and the spirit of protection. Each rescued cow, every healed wound, and every full feeding trough becomes a quiet act of devotion—sincere, powerful, and deeply meaningful.

Through this New Year Gau Seva initiative, Doon Animal Welfare strives to restore health, dignity, and safety to stray and injured cows. Your support transforms good intentions into action, bringing comfort to lives in pain and hope for a better tomorrow. May this New Year bring peace, protection, and blessings through the sacred path of Gau Seva.
