Doon Animal Welfare Trust proudly welcomes the students of Sai Institute Group, Dehradun, for their meaningful community service visit. The trust believes that when young minds connect with animal care, it builds compassion, responsibility, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

During the visit, Ruchi Pant Kandwal from Sai Institute shared her heartfelt experience. She expressed that Doon Animal Welfare takes excellent care of cows and serves them selflessly with true dedication. She mentioned that she saw many cows at the shelter who cannot walk due to severe road accidents, some who have lost their eyesight, and many who are living in constant pain. She deeply appreciated the commitment of the Gauseva workers, saying that the team genuinely cares for sick and injured cows with full sincerity and love.

Ruchi also emphasized that every person should perform Gauseva at least once in their life, and reflect on the idea that while humans help each other naturally, it is equally important to support animals who cannot speak or ask for help. She said that animals need our kindness because they have no one else to depend on, and serving them is a noble responsibility.

Teachers from Sai Institute Group also shared their thoughts, stating that bringing students to a gaushala or an animal welfare centre is extremely valuable. Such visits help students learn real-life lessons beyond the classroom. They begin to understand the struggles animals face, the importance of compassion, and how every small act of kindness can make a big difference.

Doon Animal Welfare Trust is grateful for this visit and appreciates the positive spirit shown by the students and teachers. Together, we can build a kinder world for all living beings.
