Winter Relief Drive – Be the Warmth for Rescued & Injured Animals

North India is facing intense winter conditions. The icy wind cuts through the body, and the nights feel freezing even indoors. While we can protect ourselves with warm rooms, heaters, and woollens, injured, sick, and helpless animals—especially rescued cows— endure this harsh cold silently.

At our shelter, many severely injured and critically ill cows are currently under treatment. Some are post-surgery with stitches, some have fractures, and some are battling fever and infections. In this condition, cold air makes their bodies shiver continuously. Without adequate warmth, recovery becomes slow and difficult—treatment response drops, complications rise, and the risk to life increases.

Our biggest challenge is the shortage of proper winter protection inside the shelter. The rooms become extremely cold, and these same rooms are the only “home” for our most vulnerable animals. We do not have enough room heaters, and our stock of warm blankets is also limited. That is why this winter relief campaign focuses on arranging essential warmth support for animals in need.

10 Medical-Grade Room Heaters — capable of warming a 20×20 ft room. These will be installed only in the critical-care wards for seriously ill cows. Approx. cost per heater: ₹24,000

2000 Warm Blankets — for cows, calves, dogs, monkeys, and injured street animals brought to the shelter. Approx. cost per blanket: ₹250
